Designing TITAN and building the business around it

TITAN Mixer Bottle

Year

2025

TITAN mixes supplements with a few pumps of a handle, without shaking or batteries. Getting people to replace the shaker they already owned meant showing why that difference mattered.

I co-founded TITAN and designed the bottle and its brand identity, then designed and developed the online store. I also handled customer research, photography, animation, and the Kickstarter campaign.

On the website, I used demonstrations and close-up imagery to explain the pump mechanism. Shoppers could see the bottle in action and explore its features before choosing a color and adding it to their cart.

We raised more than $66,000 on Kickstarter from over 2,000 backers. TITAN reached customers in more than 55 countries.

Building TITAN’s online store

I co-founded TITAN and handled the product design, branding, website design and development. The store had a straightforward job: explain why someone should replace their shaker with our pump-powered bottle, then make it easy to buy.

A recognizable identity on every surface

The T mark anchors the identity, with bold type and red and blue accents carried across the bottle, packaging, website, and apparel. I combined product renders with photography to show both the design and the people it was made for.

The bottle leads the page

Shoppers needed to see what made TITAN different. I used a close-up of the pump handle in one hero treatment and the complete bottle in the other, keeping the navigation simple so visitors could watch it work or head straight to the shop.

Taking the bottle apart on screen

An assembled bottle hides much of the work inside it. I animated the components separating so shoppers could see the mixing mechanism and storage system without having the product in their hands.

Showing TITAN in people’s hands

I shot these portraits with the bottle held toward the camera. That keeps the product in focus while giving shoppers a sense of its size; the photographs also bring people into a site with a lot of rendered imagery.

Making room for the details on mobile

On a phone, the product explanation still needed space. I designed and developed layouts that kept the usage guide and product imagery readable, with color choices and an add-to-cart button beside the buying details.

Working toward the T mark

My early sketches explored muscular figures and twisting blades, tying the TITAN name to the bottle’s mechanism. I simplified the direction into the T mark shown on the finished product, which also works at the smaller sizes needed for the website.

What each part does

I paired the exploded render with short explanations of each component. The pump drives the mixing blade, the funnel helps with pouring powder, and the base cup adds storage. This gives shoppers a way to understand the design part by part.

"Explaining the bottle was a big part of launching TITAN. Mohamed designed the product and understood how to demonstrate it on the website. His work connected what we were selling with how we introduced it to customers."
